Climb a tree and get ready to learn all about these towering wonders in the Autumn Issue of A Year and a Day. Issue 19, In the Treetops takes us on a journey to look at the world from the tops of trees, which in autumn are changing rapidly. First, they start glowing with all kinds of colors, and then they spread their beautiful leaves like a colorful carpet under our feet.
In this issue, children will learn all about trees and what their leafy branches mean for children, animals, forest fairies, and even for communities of people. We hope that after reading, you’ll know how to make your own dendrophone and handmade paper. You will even have a chance to create a mandala, build a cozy gnome house, or play a fun tree-themed game. There will be lots of inspiration to enjoy a picnic featuring delicious treats from an apple tree, and savor the experience while sitting beneath its shady branches.
