HISTORY ASPECTS: Helvetic Airways, a Swiss regional carrier, introduced the Embraer E190-E2 into its fleet as part of a modernization effort to increase efficiency and enhance passenger comfort. The E190-E2, a second-generation update of Embraer's successful E-Jet series, offered significant improvements in fuel efficiency, range, and operating costs. Helvetic became one of the first European airlines to incorporate the E190-E2, using the aircraft to support its network across Europe while maintaining a strong commitment to Swiss quality and reliability. The Helvetic E190-E2 operates both scheduled and charter flights, often connecting smaller European cities with major hubs. With its advanced Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan engines and new aerodynamics, the aircraft delivers up to 17% lower fuel consumption compared to the earlier E190 models, making it an environmentally friendly choice for regional air travel. The cabin design, featuring a 2-2 seating configuration, provides passengers with more comfort and space, a major selling point for Helvetic’s premium regional service philosophy. Beyond daily operations, Helvetic's E190-E2s have been important assets for strategic partnerships, including wet lease agreements with Swiss International Air Lines. These collaborations have allowed Helvetic to expand its presence in key European markets and contribute to the wider Swiss aviation sector. The E190-E2’s versatility, range of up to 2,850 nautical miles, and cutting-edge avionics ensure it remains a cornerstone of Helvetic’s plans for sustainable growth in the competitive regional airline market. Bring the spirit of Swiss precision and innovation to your collection with this beautifully detailed 1:400 scale model with landing gear, a perfect tribute to one of Europe’s most advanced and elegant regional jets.
