This limited-edition Dragon Models 1/72 plastic model represents a German Army StuG III Ausf. E of StuG.Abt. 191 at Klin, Russia, in 1941. It features a detailed exterior, true-to-scale detail, and pad-printed markings and placards designed not to fade or peel like decals.
The model has no openings and comes in a plastic display showcase with a protective display case. Its approximate dimensions are L-3.25, W-1.75, H-1.5 inches. It is supplied in brand-new, manufacturer-original unopened packaging.
The real StuG III Ausf. E was based on the Panzer III chassis and featured a 75mm StuK 37 L/24 gun and additional armor protection. Introduced in 1941, it supported infantry during Operation Barbarossa. In late 1941, StuG.Abt. 191 fought near Klin, northwest of Moscow, where StuG III assault guns supported attacks and faced Soviet counterattacks and the Russian winter. The model’s low-profile form and weathered finish represent that setting.
