This Hobby Master 1/72 diecast model represents the United States Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat in the 1976 VF-124 Bicentennial Scheme, part of the Air Power Series. Its red, white and blue livery honors the United States’ 200th anniversary.
The model has diecast metal and plastic construction, detailed exterior features including panel lines, antennas and access panels, and measures approximately 10.25 inches in length with a 10.75-inch wingspan. It includes a pilot figure and display stand, an opening canopy, detachable ordnance loads and detachable landing gear. This officially licensed model comes in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.
The depicted aircraft served with VF-124, the Navy's Fleet Replacement Squadron, which trained Tomcat crews.
