This Metal Earth Greek Trireme Warship is an officially licensed, expert-difficulty steel model kit with a detailed exterior. The brand-new box includes 176 parts and a display stand. The model has no openings.
When assembled, it measures approximately L-8, W-3.5, H-3.15 inches. No glue or paint is required, though tweezers or similar tools are recommended.
The ancient Greek trireme had three banks of oars, which gave the warship its name. Feared for its speed, maneuverability and powerful bronze battering ram used to sink enemy ships, the trireme helped Athens build its maritime empire and dominate the Aegean in the 5th century BCE.
