This brand-new-in-box, officially licensed Metal Earth steel model kit recreates Queen Anne's Revenge, the flagship of the English pirate known as Blackbeard. It has a detailed exterior, includes 63 parts and a display stand, and is rated Challenging. The model has no openings.
Assembled dimensions are approximately L-6, W-1.7, H-4.2 inches. No glue or paint is required; tweezers or similar tools are recommended.
Blackbeard used Queen Anne's Revenge for less than a year, but it was an effective tool in his prize-taking. In 1718, he ran the ship aground at Beaufort Inlet in Carteret County, North Carolina, in the present-day United States. In late 1996, Intersal, a private contractor working for the state of North Carolina in marine recovery, discovered the remains of a vessel likely to be Queen Anne's Revenge.
