Small Things Mended is a timeless, award-winning picture book from Penguin Random House by Casey Robinson and illustrated by Nancy Whitesides.
The story follows kindly Cecil, whose broken heart begins to heal when neighborhood kids ask him to repair their treasures, including a music box, a watch, and a stuffed elephant.
With gentle, kindhearted storytelling, the book shows how tiny stitches and tinkering can rebuild community, connection, and care for the things we love and their history.
