The Moon Seed, written and illustrated by Sally Anne Garland offers a whimsical reimagining of a fascinating true story from the Apollo 14 mission, when an astronaut carried a small bag of seeds into space. This beautifully illustrated tale follows one of those seeds, now back on Earth, who can't shake the dream of returning to the moon.
As the seed takes root in the soil of Earth, its heart remains in the stars, longing for the lunar landscape it briefly called home. Blending space exploration with gentle imagination, this story celebrates curiosity, hope, and the unshakable pull of a dream.
