The supplied historical account describes the M4A3 Sherman flame tank with HVSS suspension as serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II, including at Iwo Jima and Okinawa, where it was used to clear caves and bunkers and flush out Japanese soldiers in fortified positions. It says #35 was stationed in Hawaii after the war, modified, and sent to Korea in 1950, where it again saw action against fortified positions.
