The USS Constitution Small, Fully-Assembled is a handcrafted display model from Old Modern Handicrafts Inc. designed for model fans who want a finished ship without the build time.
This model measures 22.5 x 7.5 x 19.5 inches and is built from rosewood, mahogany, teak, and other exotic wood. The hull uses a plank on frame method, and the ship is finished with a clear varnished coating for a polished display look.
Details include a wooden bowsprit, foremast, mainmast, and mizzen mast, fabric sails with detailed stitching, hand-fastened rigging in matching colors, a small wooden cabin with a wooden boat on the main deck, a wooden cabin on the quarter deck, wooden fences around the beakdeck area toward the quarter deck area, metal cannons on both sides of the hull, other crafted metal parts on the front and back, and a wooden rudder. An attached wooden stand with a nameplate engraved USS Constitution is standard.
This model is built to scale from original plans, pictures, and drawings, uses no plastic parts, and arrives carefully secured in a wooden crate. It is fully-assembled and ready to be display.
